FlowerHouse helps you create stunning wedding and event florals at a fraction of the cost of traditional florists. We design your floral plan, procure and condition your blooms, then guide you hands-on through creating your gorgeous arrangements.

FlowerHouse is the goldilocks option between the stress of DIY vs. flowers that cost more than your honeymoon.

We are based in Washington, DC and serve the surrounding DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area.

The Process

    The Planning

    Schedule a 30-minute consultation to learn more about our process and share your vision. Then we send a proposal with pricing to suit your event.

    Once you pay your deposit and book your date, we dive into creating your mood board and floral recipes. Bonus: Our model allows us to work in most aesthetic adjustments up to 30 days before your event if you change your mind on the vibes.

    The Prep

    Leave it with us. FlowerHouse creates floral recipes customized for you, and we order beautiful, in-season blooms for your big day.

    One month out, we’ll meet with you to make sure you’re feeling good and go over final details for your HouseParty.

    On your wedding week, we procure your flowers and get them into perfect condition so they’re ready for arranging.

    The Party

    A day or two before your event, you’ll gather your wedding party, aunts, best friends, (whoever) at your home, venue, hotel, (wherever). It’s HouseParty time!

    We bring all your flowers and equipment directly to you. Your HouseParty host is an trained florist, and works with you and your crew to build beautiful arrangements. We provide step-by-step instructions and hands-on adjustments to make sure every arrangement looks absolutely beautiful. Our floral expert also personally makes your bridal bouquet to ensure it looks perfect — it’s the star of the show!
